Program Objectives: 

Our objective is to provide all 4th graders the chance to experience various activities that were common to the lives of gold rush pioneers. These include, but are not limited to rope making, candle making, tin smithing, leather stamping, corn husk doll making,  and games.

Completed objects from the different stations and a writing journal to be completed as they move through their day.

Grant Description: 

Truckee Elementary 4th grade creates a Living History experience for all 4th grade students . This includes a full day in costume rotating through 10 stations which provide the experiences one would have if it were during the gold rush era.
