To purchase the supplemental materials needed for the Accelerated Reader program which facilitates reading practice by providing quizzes based on the books students read.

To purchase interactive materials that develop the skills needed for researching information in the library using books, reference aids, Internet, almanacs and other resource materials.

To purchase sets of dual language homework games to be sent home for students to practice language arts skills with their parents.

To purchase leveled reading book sets to supplement the District’s language arts adopted curriculum. These books provide differentiation in reading for all students to participate at an independent reading level.

To purchase hand-held dry erase boards which act as a tool for student assessment. This grant is being shared by Glenshire Elementary.

To purchase books, at varying levels, for second grade reading.

To purchase storytelling kits that feature felted characters and books that creates an interactive learning experience for children.

To purchase equipment and materials to support the School Readiness Project which promotes the cognitive, social, physical and emotional development of at-risk preschoolers enrolled in TTUSD’s State Preschool and Pre-K Special Day classes.

To purchase high-interest fiction and non-fiction leveled reading books. 

To purchase listening centers with tape and cd players and science books for the school library.
