To provide a varied and developmentally appropriate art program for the Kindergarten classes at Truckee Elementary.

Methods of Implementation: 

The equipment purchased will be utilized by all Kindergarten teachers. The equipment will be stored in our rooms for easy access.

Measures of success or achievement: 

I hope that all the Kindergarten classes will create wood and/or weaving projects.

Grant Description: 

In order to provide Kindergarteners with a varied and developmentally appropriate art program, I'd like to purchase art supplies and equipment that are not provided by our school. I'd like to purchase a set of looms, supplies for creating sculptures, woodworking tools, wood projects, a crayon melter, and developmental scissors.

How does this grant tie into your PLC: 

Kindergarten teachers meet weekly and plan our activities. We will easily incorporate our new equipment.
