Literacy Centers - Student CD Read-Alongs
Number of Students:
25 Program Objectives:
Students will use these books on CD to develop reading skills, including phonics, comprehension, fluency and hopefully a love for reading books!
Methods of Implementation:
Within small groups students will share and rotate books, and CD players on a daily basis.
Measures of success or achievement:
Increase of skills with comprehension, sequencing stories, enjoy rhyming stories and a be able to retell stories. All are standards for kindergarten.
Grant Description:
I would like to request from lakeshore Learning books on CD for "listening to reading" and literacy development. These are sets of individual books and CDs for independent reading. I am also requesting a set of 4 CD players.
