Cardivor (kard i vor) n. 1. A person who uses a Dining for Schools Card to save 50% at local restaurants.

The 2008-2009 cards go on-sale the September 1.

Cards: $45 each.

The Dining for Schools card entitles the bearer to 50% off any individual dinner entree at 36 participating restaurants in the Truckee and North Tahoe area. The card is non-transferable but may be used an unlimited number of times at any participating restaurant during the valid period.

Participating Restaurants 2008-2009

Cards are valid Sunday through Thursday, (holidays excluded)

September 7 - December 11, 2008 and April 19 - June 11, 2009. Restaurants with an * offer an extended period for the card: January 4 - April 11, 2009.
