Support Our Students! Help Us Raise $20K by Sept. 30

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Support Our Students fund drive, a vital fundraising effort aimed at raising $20,000 to fund teacher grants and district initiatives across all Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (TTUSD) schools.

These grants go beyond just providing financial assistance — they directly impact students by giving teachers the extra tools, resources, and technology needed to create engaging, hands-on learning opportunities. Whether it’s new musical instruments, cutting-edge science equipment, or critical social-emotional learning support, your donations make a difference in the classroom.

Why This Matters

Each year, Excellence in Education provides grants to schools across the TTUSD, funding projects that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. These grants have a ripple effect—  when teachers are supported, students thrive.

But we can’t do it alone.

With the start of this year’s fund drive, we’re calling on you — our amazing community — to help us reach our goal of $20,000 by September 30. The funds raised are an investment in the future.

Whether you can give $10, $100, or $1,000, every donation counts and brings us closer to our goal. Together, we can fund programs that spark curiosity and innovation in our classrooms.

What Your Donation Supports

Your contribution helps fund teacher grants like:

  • Musical instruments that enrich students’ arts education.
  • Science and technology tools that enable hands-on STEAM experiments and learning.
  • Social-emotional support programs that foster students’ mental and emotional wellbeing.
