Description
Continued growth in ELA is a high priority for student achievement at Tahoe Lake. The 3rd grade PLC has been using differentiated literacy centers to support targeted instruction and learning in ELA. The use of listening centers supports both reading comprehension and fluency. Having the Houghton Mifflin audio component will allow teachers to create listening centers with the core curriculum during literacy centers.
Success of Program
ELA achievement is continously assessed with common assessments, DSAs, and the CSTs.
Implementation
The audio will be used to create listening stations during literacy centers.
