Can you share this grant with your grade level or subject team?

Since fifth grade teachers at GES are "Trading" students each trimester, notebooks allow us to work as a team to meet our goals in science this year.  The discussion around use and implemention of notebooks as well as their overall value, has provided us with rich and worthwhile discourse.  We believe that students will benefit from the skills learned using the notebooks and will benefit from the notetaking process.

Notes
Students will enhance their scientific skills, by using and referring to information written and drawn inside individual notebooks. It is stressed to students that this is what scientists do with their own notebooks in a real life setting whether in the lab or in the field.
