Description
To give students the opportunity to study the native species found in the Tahoe Truckee area as part of two courses: River Ecology and Biology.
Success of Program
Laboratory practical tests wherein students are asked to identify the animals. These specimens can also spark interest to students and non-students, as well. I receive questions from everyone who walks in my classroom and views the current collection.

PLC’s are now focusing on the common core. The common core focuses on thinking and understanding. These specimens will guide students in their thinking and understanding of animal adaptations and genetics.

Notes
Freze-dri taxidermy is a service and requires no taxes. I will transport animals and so no shipping is required.
Taxidery animals can last a hundred years so thousands of students will benifit.
