Description
The Magna-Tiles are magnetic building blocks that come in various shapes and colors. They develops patterning, shape recognition, building and motor skills.
The puzzles provide opportunities for strategic problem solving and spatial awareness. They also provide opportunities for students to work together to solve a problem.
The playdough is an important tool for building fine motor skills.
The Listening Lotto board games reinforce listening and early reading skills, phonemic awareness and position concepts.
Success of Program
We would also measure their success by the engagement level of the students while they are using the resources.
Implementation
These resources would be used in a small group setting during center time. All the resources would used by all students on a regular basis.
Can you share this grant with your grade level or subject team?
Yes. All the resources would be shared with all the kindergarten, and possibly even the Transitional Kindergarten, classrooms.
